Michelle has over 20 years experience in strategy, growth, and business transformation across public, private and not- for-profit organisations in Australia and internationally. She has several family members touched by cancer and disability and understands the burnout most carers face in supporting their loved ones.
She has a passion for working to support in-community needs with her skills and has worked across several social sector industries including early childhood, disability, health, human services, justice and rare disease. Michelle is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), holds a Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of IT from Southern Cross University, and a Master of Criminology from the University of Sydney.
Having supported her father through Cancer, Michelle intimately understands the impact of Cancer on family and friends. She lives with her family on the land of the Cammeraygal people and is a proud mum to two very active and determined girls.
Richard is a fitness professional with over 20 years experience and delivered more than 30,000 hours of personal training and nutrition consultations.
Richard is also deeply knowledgeable about the cancer journey, having experienced chemotherapy and radiotherapy in 2009 after discovering he had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
In Richard's spare time he loves keeping fit and helping out in the community.
Violeta Perez is a seasoned professional with over 20 years experience committed to innovation and excellence. She has a robust history of driving business transformation and delivering optimal client results across diverse sectors including IT, Finance, Energy, and Health in Australia.
She started as a junior auditor at Ernst & Young Philippines and dedicated 12 years to finance before transitioning to IT leadership, where she discovered her passion for digital transformation. She has led enterprise-wide finance and workforce reporting implementations at NSW Health, led NSW Treasury systems implementations at Deloitte and created markets at Oracle.
Violeta has two beautiful sons. Having supported her father through Cancer, she intimately understands the complex journey of caregiving and the importance of finding balance. In her spare time, she enjoys tending to her garden, practising meditation, exploring new books, and planning her next adventures.
Based in Sydney, Colin has more than 35 years' experience in corporate leadership. His executive level focus on business development, client relationship management and marketing has delivered explosive growth across several continents in many industries for multiple large and small companies. As a strategic thinker and planner, Colin enjoys working together with clients to deliver lasting community benefit. He is passionate about leading change initiatives that improve client experiences, especially where they rely on enhanced employee diversity, empowerment and satisfaction.
Colin has a strong athletic background, competing internationally in long distance running and orienteering. He is an aspirational golfer and ever hopeful Waratahs fan.
Darren is an entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in the business start-up space. He is an expert communicator with deep knowledge and experience in sales, marketing, ecosystem development and industry collaborations.
Darren is a Cancer survivor and knows what it's like to be diagnosed and to undergo the required treatments. In his spare time, Darren loves to cycle, seek out and explore new experiences and craft brews.
