Monika is a cancer survivor who understands firsthand what it means to receive a diagnosis and navigate the physical, emotional and practical challenges that follow. Monika often describes this moment as her “date with death” — an experience that reshaped how she lives, leads and supports others. While she was grateful for the care she received, she identified gaps in support, particularly around movement, nutrition and having someone to talk to during difficult moments.
Growing up, Monika also experienced being an obese child and later becoming anorexic. These experiences gave her a deep understanding of what it feels like to be teased, undervalued and disconnected from your body. They shaped her strong belief that healing is about more than medical treatment — it’s about feeling supported, seen and empowered.
Monika brings this perspective to her role as Founder and Board Director of All Together Thriving, where she supports strong governance, clear direction and sustainable impact. She is deeply committed to helping people feel supported, connected and empowered through life’s toughest moments.
Her leadership style is calm, grounded and human.
She believes that when people feel safe, supported and understood, they can move forward with confidence — and that belief sits at the heart of everything she brings to All Together Thriving.
